Viva la Mari!

It is very strange to write one's biography because it is just a list of dates, events, and achievements. In reality the most important things about one's life happen in the secret chambers of the heart and evidently those cannot be included in a list like this. I think that my most significant achievement is by far the love I share with my family...my two kids Giuseppe and Sam- the light of my life.  I am so simple and yet people probably look at me and think I must be very complex. I'm the kind of person with whom you take off your shoes, curl up on the sofa and figure out life together.
I'm the kind of friend whom you feel comfortable making fun of yourself. I strive to make friends...and the more the merrier. I love to be surrounded by positive souls. Negativity just drains me. I'm an extrovert and social butterfly by excellence ~hence Viva la Mari!

I believe that in the midsts of all the weeds, one should bloom into a vibrant flower!

The doors to my soul are open...I like to share myself (my thoughts and feelings) -yet with the discipline of an artist. With the hopes that by doing so, I will be showing what will heal and illuminate life for others and also for myself.

Isabel Allende, my favorite writer said it best: "I’m always willing to open up my life and my heart, because I believe that generally it is not the truth exposed that makes one vulnerable but the secrets one keeps….I am aware of how much we all have in common.

I believe you'll get to know me a lot better through my writing but if you still would like to know a little bit of my background...here it goes:
